Michelle’s excellent, thought-provoking post deserves (and has gotten) really excellent responses, but I’m super busy these days being disgustingly in love, so here’s the point form version: You can. They’re up there, at least. It exists, and one nice thing about the cesspit of the internet is that it’s a lot more visible now, which I hope will change things for the better, slowly. Those are all things you can be a huge nerd about, yep. Those too. Oh, huh; you know, I think you can. Wow, I think that’s a good way to try and define hipsters, which we need to do is people are going to keep using the word. You totally can. LMFAO are complete party nerds.

All of this analysis and discussion is really great but mostly I’m just cracking up at the idea of the dudes in LMFAO talking like Roman in Party Down about partying. “What is this PLUR bullshit? No. I’m strictly into hard partying. None of this kiddie shit.”
